I wish to acknowledge the professionalism, and support that we have received from Alya Nazarali.  Alya was there to educate and advise us each step of the way in our legal matters.  I appreciated the way Alya took the time to understand our situation and built our case by negotiating, and mediating positively on my behalf with a purpose to continually move progress forward.  I recommend Alya and Quarry Park Law to anyone seeking fair and professional legal representation with family law matters.

We worked with Jon Ablett. In addition to being prompt, flexible, and organized, he did a great job of explaining the legal details of all our cases. The service we receive from Jon Ablett and Quarry Park Law is consistently thorough and efficient. The staff have been a pleasure to work with and we would recommend them for real estate and business law in particular.

This is the third time I've used Jonathan Ablett for buying or selling a house. The first time was three and a half years ago, then this past month he helped with the home we sold and then the house we just bought. He is very professional, makes an effort to have a flexible schedule, always works in your best interest, and will answer every question you have. I recommend him to anyone requiring a lawyer for property reasons.

Jordan M.

Recently worked with Alya. I was extremely impressed with the results we got. She was very accommodating and very patient with all my questions. Will definitely come back for any future legal needs.

Dear clients and friends,

COVID-19, which has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization, continues to spread in Canada and around the globe. Quarry Park Law prides itself on its adaptability and flexibility in the face of this challenge. First and foremost, we are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our staff, clients and community. We recognize your need for continued counsel and services during this time and have implemented business continuity policies to ensure that we continue to operate with as little disruption as possible.

As an essential service, we have implemented a number of measures in our office to ensure everyone’s health and well-being through this outbreak. Specifically, we have taken the following steps:

Limited Office Access: Please be advised that our lawyers and staff are working remotely as much as possible. Where necessary, meetings may still be scheduled by appointment at this time. Please be advised that our office is closed to the public and drop-ins. We remain prepared to re-open our physical office when recommended by public health officials.

Essential Meetings: For clients who we must see in person, including for the execution of testamentary (Will) instruments, we remain flexible and continue to offer meetings by appointment while maintaining sanitary protocols.

Non-Essential Meetings: We have implemented video and phone conferencing to accommodate continued service for our clients in order to limit the need for in-person meetings. We recommend all clients take advantage of this technology as much as possible. The Alberta Government and the Law Society of Alberta have amended various rules to accommodate most situations that would normally require an in-person meeting so that they may be completed via remote video conferencing.

Sanitization: Hand-washing stations are available in our office and is available to staff and clients. Our reception desk and door handles are sanitized after each client visit and at the end of each day that a lawyer or staff member is at the office. Time spent face-to-face will be limited to necessary matters only. We would also ask that clients bring their own blue pens for document signing. We would further advise all clients to maintain a 2-metre separation as recommended by public health officials.

Continued Client Service: With the implementation of these protocols, we are able to provide uninterrupted client service. We pride ourselves on our flexibility as a firm, and our ability to meet changes to client needs head-on. We will continue to monitor updates provided by Alberta Health Services and Health Canada, and will act in accordance with all new information and guidance from health authorities. These measures will ensure we are able to continue to provide the highest level of client service while ensuring the health and well-being our staff, clients and community.

Business Impact on Clients: We also understand the impact that COVID-19 is having on business and the markets in which our clients operate. Our expertise can help you navigate the legal and business implications of COVID-19 and manage the issues it presents. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us to discuss any areas of concern.

If you have any questions, please email us at or contact any of our professionals directly.
